Happy Birthday to Isaac - 2 years old

Isaac has 3 birthday parties this year.

One at grandparents' house.



One at godparents' house.



One at parents' house.



(P.S. Eunice was enjoying Isaac's birthday party too just like her own birthday.)

Asking Why...

Eunice likes to ask questions. She asked questions for explanation. She asked for answers. She asked questions like this. "Why we see the Sun in the morning?" and our answer was "Because God made the Sun and it shines in the morning." Then Eunice would ask again, "Why God made the Sun in the morning?" Eunice asked again, "Why". After a few times, we told Eunice our answer was "無得解呀."

One day we went back to grandma's house for dinner. Hannah (Eunice's cousin) asked her daddy and mommy why Eunice and her family came for dinner. This is Eunice's answer "無得解呀, Hannah" We all laughed.

Let's go to the Fair (April 7th)

We went to the Fair on April 7th (Easter Holiday). Yeah! We had too many activities during the Easter Holiday. Eunice and Isaac were so excited because recently they watched the Barney Movie and thought that Barney, BJ, Baby Bop and Cousin Riff were here in the Fair. We told them that all these characters were not here. They were OK. We walked around and tried to choose some of the rides that were suitable for Eunice and Isaac. At first Eunice did not want to go on the ride but after the first ride, she kept on going for the second and the third ... Isaac was so cool. We thought he wouldn't sit still by himself on the ride. However, he was not. When we put him in the car, he sat still and held on the steering wheel with a loving and satified smile. We just loved his smile.

Easter Egg hunting (April 6th)

Isaac and Eunice joined the Killarney Community Centre for the Easter Eggs Hunting game on Friday morning. It was so funny. First they were playing in the gym and Eunice met some of her schoolmates. Then they went outside to do the hunting. 1-2-3 go Daddy was with Eunice and I was with Isaac. The eggs were on the ground and Isaac packed a few eggs. After a while, I asked Isaac whether he saw more eggs and he said "mo" meant no more. It only took 10 minutes for all the kids to pack up the eggs and then most of them went back to the gym. Eunice were so excited and she was climbing and jumping.







After the hunting, we went for Dim Sum with Uncle 3's family and Grandpa and Grandma.

Right after the Dim Sum, we went to the park for a while.

Passport pictures

About 3 weeks ago, we brought Isaac and Eunice to take the passport photos. We were worried about the outcome of the photos but it turned out quite good. The photographer required Isaac and Eunice not to smile or move. They listened to the photographer and sat down nicely.

Funny faces

Hannah came over to play with Eunice and Isaac last night. They made some funny faces.


Andrew gave them some chocolate cookies. Look at them! Really enjoying :)

Skyler's Birthday Party

Skyler, Eunice's first friend from Brainbridge, had a birthday party on April 1st at the Kerrisdale Community Centre. He invited Eunice to join the party. Eunice was so excited because she never attended a birthday party before. We bought a present for him and Eunice helped me wrapping it. She wrote the birthday card for him.

When we arrived the community centre, both Eunice and Isaac were so happy to see all the balloons. They ran and ran and ran. Isaac was holding the blue one and then the green one while Eunice was running around.

Before cutting the birthday cake, they had some craft time and game time. Eunice was enjoying the craft. She made a green cap for herself. Then they played a few games together. Something happened at muscial chair game. First Eunice and the kids were sitting down on the chairs. When the music was playing, everyone stood up and walked around the chairs. Suddenly, the music stopped and everyone found a chair to sit. This was the rule of the game. However, when the music stopped, someone sat on Eunice's orginial seat. Eunice kept on saying, "Someone sit on my chair. Someone sit on my chair." I told her to find another one. Then she said, "Someone sit on my chair." and she cried out. Everyone was just laughing. She just didn't understand the rule. Anyway, after a while, she was OK again.

Birthday cake time. Eunice asked me, "Is this my birthday?" Very typical question from Eunice. She asked the same question all the time. Then I told her that it was not your birthday. You were attending Skyler's birthday party, remember. Skyler is turning 4 years old. Right now, if you ask Eunice how old she is. Eunice's answer will be "4".
