Eunice's question

At the age of 3, Eunice asked me this question for a few times. When Eunice was holding a cup of milk, she prayed.
Eunice : Thank you God for giving me and Isaac the milk. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen (of course, in Cantonese)
Eunice : Mom, why we need to say "In Jesus' Name"?
Mom : (hesitate for a second, Don't expect her to ask this question.) You asked Daddy la.
Eunice : (the second time) Mom, why we need to say "In Jesus' Name"?
Mom : It is because we are christian. (What an answer!) Ask Daddy la.
Eunice : (the third time) Mom, why we need to say "In Jesus' Name"?
Mom : Drink milk please and I will tell you later.
It is hard to think what Eunice is thinking. She is only 3 years old and asks this spiritual question. (Mom, you need to back to basic! )

I am using chopsticks

Eunice is very curious about using chopsticks so we teach her how to use it. She likes it very much and learns fast. She knows how to hold the bowl and use the chopsticks to move the rice into her mouth. She did a very good job on this. However, she still doesn't know how to pick up the food with the chopsticks. We also teach her that if she doesn't need to use the chopsticks, just put it on top of her own bowl and can't play with it.

After 3 whole years...

After three whole years, it was the first time we (as a whole family) travelled out of Canada.

We drove 2 hours to Seattle Premium Outlets for shopping. Flora and I were so excited. But poor Isaac and Eunice had to sit for 2 hours straight and could not move around. Flora had to entertain them for the whole trip.

Eunice and Isaac were so happy to get out of the car and had their fast food lunch. (Can you tell?) We bought some pants and clothes for them. The prices were cheaper in Canada.

After spending two and half hours in States, Eunice and Isaac were so happy to go back to Vancouver. It's beacuse they missed their toys at home so much. They all fell asleep on the way back home and it was a blessing for me and Flora.

Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all of you!
On the first day of 2007, we went to Mt. Seymour. Eunice and Isaac were so excited because they could see snow. It was raining below the mountain and when we reached the park, it was snowing. We only stayed outside for 5 minutes because of the cold weather. Of course, Isaac and Eunice were screaming in the car and wanted to stay longer. Then we went to Macdonald for lunch and they were happy again.
