Isaac's 3rd Birthday Party

Time flies... Isaac is not a baby anymore. He is 3 now. This few days he kept on singing "Happy Birthday" to himself. When we asked him how old Isaac is, he said he was 2 but coming to be 3. Kids are so smart. We set up a birthday party for Isaac. Before the birthday party, I brought Isaac and Eunice to a dallor store to buy some stuffs for the birthday party. I saw a musical candle. I asked Isaac whether he liked it or not. Then he started to sing "Happy Birthday" song to himself again. We asked his cousins (Hannah & Coleman), friends (Kit, Yvonne, Harry- I should say "mom and dad's friends; Clement (Isaac's friend), grandma, uncle and aunt to come to our house.
"Look at my cake with "Thomas the tank engine" besides it. Where is my "3" musical candle?"
"Haha! Everyone sings "happy birthday to me" la"
All the kids say "cheese"
"A big kiss to grandma"

"dancing Clement"

VCS Screening Day

Eunice will be attending the Vancouver Christian School in Sept 08. Today is the screening day. The purpose of the screening day is to let the teacher to know the basic ability of the kid such as language (communication), social etc... I told Eunice a few days ago about the screening day. Just to get her to prepare her heart. She was OK.

By the time we arrived the VCS, she was OK. She was a little bit shy (no crying) which was OK to me. It was because this was her first time experience. When the teacher asked them to go to the classroom, she started to cry. She wanted me to stay with her (normal reaction - I know she will say it.) She kept on crying for a few minutes and I just let her cry in the classroom and I left her alone with the teachers. I actually had to another session to meet the Vice Princpal of the school. Anyway, when we met again in about 45 minutes, I asked her how long did she cry. She told me that right after I left and she enjoyed the drawing, story time, talk to the teacher, meet new friends in the classroom. Then I asked her again whether she liked the school or not. She told me that she liked it very much. Thanks God!

This is how her hair style is and she chose her own clothes to wear.

Eye-glasses for Eunice

After the eye operation for Eunice in Sept 2006, the Eye Specialist (Dr. Rees) had a few follow up examinations on Eunice's eyes. She found out that Eunice may have to wear glasses. On Feb 18, 08, we went to see Dr. Rees and she told us that Eunice need to wear glasses. Andrew and I were a little worried about how Eunice's reaction. However, Eunice was very positive about the glasses.

Today we went to have another test for Eunice after she wore the glasses. She was great. She just need to wear the glasses for a while for her eye development.
